The New Hawaii Air Ambulance is even more reliable and safe, and our employees are professional, well trained and experienced. Island Based Hawaii Air Ambulance is the only air medical transport company with their crews permanently living on their base islands. With bases in Lihue, Kahului, Hilo and Kamuela, Hawaii Air Ambulance is local and ready to respond. Basing on the different islands not only insures faster response times but it also creates a strong partnership of respect and trust between these based crews and their base hospitals.
