All medical supplies, equipment and medications are also distributed to the entire Hawaii Air Ambulance network from here. In addition, Hawaii Air Ambulance stations a backup medically equipped King Air C90B aircraft to insure proper rotation and compliance with FAA aircraft maintenance schedules. Kahului, Maui Base: Located on the beautiful island of Maui, primarily servicing the Maui Memorial Medical Center, Hawaii Air Ambulance has stationed one medically equipped King Air C90B and a fully staffed Critical Care/ALS air medical crew, available 24/7. Their response time to the airport is approximately 20 minutes or less. Hilo, Hawaii On the east side of the Big Island of Hawaii primarily serving the Hilo Medical Center, Hawaii Air Ambulance has stationed one medically equipped King Air C90B and a fully staffed Critical Care/ALS air medical crew, available 24/7. Their response time to the airport is approximately 20 minutes or less. Lihue, Kauai Located on the beautiful "Garden Island" of Kauai, in close proximity to both the Wilcox Memorial and Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospitals, Hawaii Air Ambulance has stationed one medically equipped King Air C90B and a fully staffed Critical Care/ALS air medical crew, available 24/7. Their response time to the airport is approximately 20 minutes or less. Kamuela, Hawaii The newest of the fixed wing aircraft bases, located in the central north part of the Big Island of Hawaii, primarily serving the North Hawaii Community Hospital, Hawaii Air Ambulance has stationed one medically equipped King Air C90B and a fully staffed Critical Care/ALS air medical crew, available 24/7.
